About The Therapist

Hi, my name is Eiki (pronounced as "Achy") Yoshikawa.

I was born in Kyoto, Japan, in 1966. In 1993, after I graduated from a Japanese university, I also graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Psychology. After living in the San Francisco bay area for 10 years, including 7 years with a leading high-tech company, I returned to Austin in January 2004. In 2005, I decided to study and earned the Certificate of American Sign Language Studies from Austin Community College.

In the same year, I started my massage therapy training at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School, where I completed 300 hours of training for the Texas license in 2006 and finished additional 250 hours of training in May 2008. I have been practicing massage therapy and bodywork since February 2007. In 2010, I started to offer Hawaiian Lomi Lomi (Sacred Lomi(R), Temple Style). In 2011, I opened a new chapter of my life in Dallas, TX.

My specialties are: Deep Massage (The Lauterstein Method), Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, and Clinical Bodywork.

The Session

All of your sessions with me will be tailored just for you, based on your preferences, needs, and hopes, as well as the pre-session assessment. Since everyone is different and even the same person can be different on different days, we will have a brief pre-session interview to determine your particular needs every time you come in.

The session will be conducted, utilizing various techniques and modalities. The Modalities page lists some of the modalities and techniques used in your sessions. Check it out!

The Room

My Therapy Room is a 2nd-floor room of my vintage apartment at 4005 N. Hall Street & Throckmorton in the Heart of Oak Lawn, Dallas. A safe, professional, yet personal atmosphere is presented for your relaxation.

I am proudly serving Texan LGBT community and beyond. (LMT- MT101955)
